He was formerly National Head Legal in B. K. Birla Group of Companies managing Pan Asia Litigations of the group relating to Birla Tyre, Birla Cement, Birla Rayon and Birla Group Schools.
He was also formerly retained as Head Legal by Vedanta Resources Plc. in Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) (formerly known as Sesa Sterlite Limited/Sesa Goa Limited), implementing the largest 1980 (3×660) MW Greenfield Power Project in Punjab, India.
He started practicing in Allahabad High Court in year 2000 mainly in Civil and Taxation matters, he gradually extended his practice area and also became Advocate-On-Record in Supreme Court of India.
He has been putting appearances before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Allahabad High Court, High Court at Lucknow, Tripura High Court etc, he also appears before various forums as Electricity Tribunals, State & National Consumer Forums, National Green Tribunal, Company Tribunals, Debt Recovery Tribunals, Central Administrative Tribunal, Armed Forces Tribunal and Enforcement Directorate.
