A law graduate from the Department of Laws, Panjab University, Chandigarh, Arshi Hayat practices before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT). Prior to shifting her practice to Delhi, she practiced before the Punjab & Haryana High Court. Having strong command over Constitutional Law, Service Law, and Consumer Law, she also extensively handles matters relating to criminal law, civil law, family law, property disputes, and matters arising out of the Motor Vehicles Act.
Alongside litigation, she is continuously engaged in legal writing and research, and has written hundreds of legal articles, opinions, and analytical pieces on judgments and statutes. As a researcher, she has worked extensively on constitutional jurisprudence, constitutional history, reservation laws, civil liberties, and human rights jurisprudence. Her work has appeared across several legal platforms, including LiveLaw and SheThePeopleTV. Her approach to legal work is shaped by strong analytical ability, close attention to detail, and a nuanced understanding of the intersection between law, society, and policy.
